From the marvellous gardens of Montazah, at the far end of the corniche of Alexandria. This fresh and flowery candle is a delicate blend of white flowers picked in the early hours of the day, when you may find a Peacock or two preening in the garden! With delicate notes of Jasmine and lily of the valley highlighted with a touch of bergamot. Our Peacock & Blossom candles are made from natural wax with 13% perfume and are produced in Grasse, France.
Trim the wick down to a maximum of 1/4 of an inch after each burn to prevent the flame from smoking and extend the life of your beautiful candle.
Use a proper candle lighter and extinguisher to light and put out your candles where possible.
Allow your candle to burn out to the edge of the porcelain goblet before extinguishing it. If it only burns for a short while it will be spoiled by burning downwards and not outwards.
Further candle refills can be purchased from us in sets of 4, 8 or 12. Please contact our concierge if you would like to purchase a refills set - email@example.com
About The Collection:
Peacock & Blossom is one of Rachel Bates signature designs that has been delicately hand painted and gilded in 24 carat gold on to her Limoges porcelain collections.
Rachel hopes her special porcelain will be cherished and passed down to the next generation, becoming the antiques of tomorrow.
Rachel has a love for the Peacock which is evident throughout her collections and this particular design is very close to her heart. The inspiration for the design was taken from a pair of beautiful Victorian glass vases that Rachel inherited & her fascination with these beautiful birds since childhood. The design first appeared on a huge statement rug designed by Rachel and was later added to her porcelain, crystal and toleware collections.
